Letter name: té (say "tay")
/t/ · rövid, nem nyújtható · short, can't be stretched
Zöngétlen zárhang: a nyelv hegye a felső fogsor mögé tapad, majd elpattan.
Like English "t" but crisper, with less puff of air, tongue touching the back of the upper teeth.
Every word below uses only letters taught up to this one in our order.
Egy hang, más szó! Olvasd fel párban, és mutass a jó képre.
One sound changes the word. Read each pair aloud; the child points to the right meaning.
Zöngétlen–zöngés pár.
Voiceless/voiced pair.
Tik-tak, tik-tak — mondja az óra,
Tomi siet a tornaórára.
Tik-tak, t-t-t,
te is mondd, hogy: t-t-t!
Tick-tock, tick-tock — says the clock, / Tommy hurries to PE class. / Tick-tock, t-t-t, / you say it too: t-t-t!
Nyomtatott Print: Hosszú álló szár, a középvonalon áthúzva.
A tall stem crossed near the middle line.
Írott (folyóírás) Cursive: Írott t: magas szár, aljában jobbra kifutó kampó; az áthúzást a szó végén tesszük rá.
Cursive t: a tall stroke with a hook at the bottom; the cross-bar goes on after the word is finished.
Vonalvezetés Strokes: Alapvonalról fel a felső segédvonal alá, ugyanott vissza le, kanyar jobbra ki. Végül vízszintes áthúzás.
From the baseline up to just below the top line, back down the same path, curve out right. Finally the cross-bar.
Figyelj! Watch for: Az áthúzás lemarad, és l-nek látszik.
Forgetting the cross-bar, so it looks like l.
A t nem nyújtható, ezért röviden, hang nélkül ejtsük: t, nem "té" és nem "tö".
You can't stretch a t, so say it short and whispery — "t", not "tay" or "tuh". Adding a vowel ("tuh-a") is the most common blending mistake.
